A former student of mine e-mailed me with a recommendation to check out TIGERCITY. Being one who tries to keep his finger on the pulse of the music of the youth of today I dove in head first into the deep end on this band and was pleasantly suprised. These guys play a groove driven white boy soul with a real 80's feel. There are hints of Joe Jackson and Howard Jones in the vocals and a musical feel very similar to PHOENIX.
